Nov. 11-22 - Climate Awareness
This year, the 29th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11–22, 2024. In support of heightened awareness, The Table & Gallery will host a series of events spotlighting climate awareness and the global crisis, featuring artists, environmentalists, and activists who will share their perspectives and insights on climate change.
Climate artists will present a series of works that explore themes of environmental impact, using recycled materials as part of their creative process. Climate change art is a dynamic movement aimed at expressing the urgency and complexity of issues surrounding global warming. Through their work, artists raise awareness, challenge perspectives, and inspire action on climate change. This genre spans diverse media—including paintings, sculptures, installations, performances, and digital works—often merging scientific insight with emotional resonance to make the climate crisis more relatable and compelling.
